
What you can expect of us, and what we require of you
Cancellations
Things happen, we understand.

But please give as much notice as possible. If you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment time, or don't turn up, you are still due to pay the full cost of your appointment. Any future appointments within the studio will be removed, and we cannot re-book you until this balance is paid.
Booking Fees
A booking fee is required to secure your appointment. Your appointment is not booked in until this has been confirmed. If you have done a bank transfer, please send a screenshot, or message to let us know it's been sent, otherwise we may not realise, and won't put you in the booking system.
All booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Booking fees may be transferrable at the salon's sole discretion, if ample notice is provided.
No Shows
We do understand that sometimes life gets in the way - but send us a message to let us know you won't make your appointment. Even if you do not attend your appointment, you are still required to pay 100% of the appointment cost.
Children & Friends
Please come to your appointment alone - the waiting area is required for those waiting for their next appointment.
The Studio can be potentially dangerous for little children. Your treatment will require you to be still, hands on the desk, head still or eyes closed - so you won't be able to keep an eye on little ones at the same time as getting your treatment.
Many clients really value their wee bit of 'me time' away from their own little ones (often it's their only time alone in a 'grown up' space), so out of respect for them we ask you not to bring children to the Studio.
Patch Tests
Some treatments require a patch test, and we'll let you know if this is the case. They must be complete at least 24hrs before the appointment - we will not under any circumstances perform a treatment which requires a patch test without it.
Some patch tests need to be re-done after a certain timeframe. If you have had the treatment done recently at another salon, we must perform our own.
It is YOUR responsibility to arrange to have your patch test - and have this time agreed with your therapist or the salon. We are not able to chase you up for it, or send any reminders. If a patch test is not completed successfully, the cancellation policy will apply. The booking fee would be lost, or the full appointment cost be due if within 24hrs of the appointment time.
Parking
There is typically on-street parking (free) immediately in front of the Studio (both sides of the road).
There are 2x electric charging point spaces immediately in front of the shop.
There is off-street parking (free) available at the rear of the Studio, accessed via Shanks Road.

Chloe McBride Studio is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage to any vehicles parked near to the Studio.
Timing
Please arrive on-time, or just before your appointment time. Allow sufficient time to travel to the studio and get parked (if driving), accounting for traffic or potential delays. The later you arrive, the less time we will have which may mean we are only able to complete a partial treatment. If you arrive too late we will not be able to complete your treatment, and you would still be required to pay for the appointment in full. We will not extend your appointment timeslot into that of the next appointment.
Wedding Bookings
1. Booking Fee
A booking fee (to be advised based on quantity and types of services) is required to secure the appointment(s) on your chosen date and time. The booking is not secured or entered into the diary until this has been received. The booking fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.
2. Changes of Date or Time
Things do change, and we try to be accommodating. In the event of a date change within 6 weeks of the appointment date, a new booking fee is required to secure a new date. If the date is changed with more than 6-weeks notice of the appointment date, the change of date is free of charge, but is subject to availability. A single reschedule is permissible up to 12 months after the original booked date. If not used within 12 months or if a 2nd reschedule is required, the paid booking fee is void and another booking fee would be required to secure another date.
If there is no availability to perform the requested service on the new date, the booking fee remains not-refundable.
3. Change of Location
In the event of a change of location where the services are to be performed, there may be additional charges to add to the total – including for travel time, mileage costs and any overnight fees.
4. On the Day
We will advise the timeframe and schedule for the services. It is vital that the people to receive treatments are available within the advised/agreed timeslots.
If the services are to be provided on location (i.e. not within Chloe McBride Make Up Studio) then a suitable location for the services should be provided at the venue, including a high chair or stool (e.g. barstool) for the client(s) to sit on during the treatment, adequate space to work, and lighting (natural if possible).
5. Balance
The total balance (total price minus booking fee) is due no later than 10 days prior to the appointment date. The total balance is non-refundable within 10 days of the appointment date. In the event of a cancelation with more than 10 days’ notice, a refund may be due amounting to the total amount paid minus booking fees and minus any direct costs already incurred.
